Pre-registration for childbirth
Pre-registration takes place in the maternity ward in a consultation with a midwife. The consultation generally lasts 30-45 minutes and consists of the midwife recording your personal data, noting your medical history and the course of your current pregnancy. Your personal preferences for the birth are discussed and, if necessary, a specialist appointment is arranged. An antenatal check-up can also be performed during the pre-registration.

The department offers the entire spectrum of surgical and conservative gynaecology, including diagnostics and aftercare.

  • Incontinence and prolapse surgery, functional pelvic floor reconstruction (including TVT (Tension-free Vaginal Tape surgery)

Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology Centre

Within the gynaecology department, the centre for paediatric and adolescent gynaecology headed by Dr. med. Sabine Anthuber has regular consultation hours for girls from birth to their late teens.
